ShipGerman can deliver all over the world from their base outside Munich, Bavaria. They offer shipping from a large choice of couriers including UPS and DHL. ShipGerman will arrange Customs documentation on your behalf, for a small fee. There is a processing fee per package on top of the shipping fee.

You pay when you actually send a package from Germany. Shipping starts from €4.76 plus the carrier charge, with DHL, UPS and other shipping partners available. For example sending to New Zealand, advertised shipping currently starts at €34.80.

You get 14 days of free storage after a package arrives. After that, storage costs €0.60 per parcel per day, with parcels normally held for up to 44 days. If you buy from several stores, ShipGerman can consolidate your packages, with consolidation starting at €16.66.

Package consolidation is available for a flat fee, of up to €15.00 depending upon package size, plus fee per package to be combined.

There are several additional services. Customs declarations cost €1.19 per shipment, returns start at €4.76, and heavy or bulky shipments up to 50 kg start at €11.90 plus shipping. You can also order package photos from €5.95 and prepay duties and taxes for €1.79 plus 8% of the duty and tax amount.

The main attraction is therefore simple, pay-as-you-go German forwarding without a membership fee, combined with access to preferred carrier rates. The main drawback is that several services that some competitors include for free—particularly consolidation, photos and longer storage—are charged separately.
