You get a warehouse address for shopping overseas, then declare your parcel and have it forwarded to your destination.

The shipping costs are weight-based, using the actual weight rather than charging by box size when the package meets its dimensional limits. Buy&Ship also offers proxy shopping, allowing you to purchase from overseas stores through its service. Proxy-shopping fees start at 6%, although rates vary by market; Japan proxy shopping has previously been offered at 0% service fee under certain conditions.

Storage is generally free for 30 days at their overseas sorting centre. Shipping rates vary by destination and warehouse, and some current routes have temporary fuel surcharges. For example, the Hong Kong service currently applies a HK$1/lb fuel surcharge to shipments from selected warehouses.
