Planet Express

Planet Express has several warehouses in different states on the US, with two in tax-free jurisdictions. Another warehouse is located in the UK.

Premium membership is $10 a month, or $50 a year, and includes services such as longer storage, consolidation and tax-free shopping.

Signing-up is quick and easy. The website is easy to use, and once in your Dashboard shows you the list of packages, their status and the funds in your account. Live chat support is available in multiple languages.

Membership is free, while the Premium plan costs US$10 per month or $50 per year. Every incoming package carries a $2 handling fee, and international shipping is charged separately based on your chosen carrier and shipment.

On the free plan, you get 10 days of storage, a free exterior package photo and access to discounted international shipping rates. Premium extends free storage to 45 days and gives you access to Planet Express's Oregon tax-free warehouse.

If you want to combine packages, you need Premium. Consolidation costs $5 plus $2 for each package included, while additional package photos cost $2 for three standard photos or $5 for 10 detailed photos. You can also request special handling for $5 per package.

Planet Express also offers a Shop For Me service if you can't purchase directly from a retailer. This costs $5 plus 7% of the purchase price. Additional storage after the free period is charged at around $0.01 per pound per day.

Opas, based in Oregon, merged with Planet Express in 2023 to expand the offering of both companies. Opas customers were encouraged to sign up with Planet Express and it is this website that the old Opas website is directed to.
